REAL INDIGO DIPPED DYE FLEECE

WHAT IS REAL INDIGO?
Indigo is a dye that occurs naturally and is extracted from the leaves of certain plants belonging to the Indigofera Genus, particularly Indigofera Tinctoria. These plants, known for their dye-producing qualities, were extensively grown and used worldwide, especially in Asia, where they were considered to be a vital crop.
WHY INDIGO?
Sustainability is a crucial concern for us all, which is why we have chosen to use genuine indigo dye. Aside from the beauty, irregular appeal and character of indigo dipping, this dye is a sustainable option because all the water used in the pigment extraction process can be recycled and is non toxic. In contrast, synthetic indigo is made from petrochemicals and generates harmful waste during its production.
THE BEAUTY OF THIS COLLECTION
These L&N pieces have been designed and manufactured using 100% cotton fleece knitted and manufactured here in Melbourne, Australia. We take pride in supporting the local fashion industry and we’re excited to offer these unique garments, they showcase our commitment. Each piece has been hand-dyed by us individually, so any colour variation and surface texture should be seen as a feature of the dyes' distinctive character and individual beauty. Each piece takes dye differently which makes every garment one of a kind. We hope you love wearing it as much as we loved making it.
